I got a break up for my birthday.

The problem?

I'm madly in love with her, and all of the sudden, she couldn't give a rat's ass about me. I'd wanted to marry her. I'd dreamed of adopting a little girl together. I'd dreamed of what our house would look like; after graduation I'd wanted to propose to her and be engaged until after college. I'd wanted to be her first and only, and she, mine.

And in a day, she decided to write me off like I was just a play toy, after four years of my love and dedication to her. I survived Kristie and my mom. I'd survived her lying to me and saying she was straight. I'd survived what seems like everything for her that I thought I wouldn't be able to live through.

And in a day, I was shrugged off.
